Communications Analyst Location Phoenix, AZ (Camelback East area) :

We know this vision becomes a reality when we have exceptional people. We are currently looking for an experienced Communications Lead/Analyst to join our marketing and proposal team in Phoenix, AZ.

Overview

The Communications Analyst will collaborate with proposal and marketing managers and senior leadership to create impactful and professional content for internal marketing information and use, statements of qualification (SOQs), proposals, newsletters, website updates, press releases, and other print/digital marketing materials. The role will report to the Director of Strategy and Business Development and will support marketing efforts (website, social media, event/internal materials, etc.) as well as the business development department (proposals, interviews, one-pages, etc.). This position will also support marketing and data analysis and manage our CRM system implementation.

Essential Functions

• Create and prepare technical content for proposals and external marketing items as well as internal communications.
• Develop various content following company guidelines in coordination with other marketing or operations team members.
• Work with other marketing personnel to develop, categorize, edit, and maintain an asset library of content.
• Support project and company award submittals with written applications.
• Work alongside the marketing team to help develop MWH's digital and social media presence by writing, editing and/or designing engaging content and supporting marketing efforts.
• Research and compile information needed for creating marketing content and articles for our newsletter, blog, website, social media, and other outlets.
• Lead the implementation of our SalesForce CRM system including the development of rules, logic, data quality control, reporting, and other functions.
• Support and lead marketing analysis efforts for new geographies, markets, clients, and forecasts using data from the Census Bureau, US EPA, Capital Improvement Plans, and other sources to develop forecasts, reports, dashboards, or metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong written, graphical, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented team-player with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects based on deadlines effectively.
• A 4-year degree in graphic design, marketing, communication, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing written content for publication and distribution.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Expert in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, PowerBI, etc.)
• Savvy with social media, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
• Must submit a resume and an online portfolio to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.
• Experience in Water, Wastewater, or Advanced Manufacturing industries.
• CRM Management experience, with preference for developing logic rules, reports, and data QC procedures.
• Experience with the creation of and publication of articles and press releases summarizing technical information.

• Experience with web design to be able to make changes and revisions to our website (using WordPress+).
• Prior experience with print production (tabs, full-bleed pages, wrapped binders, etc.)
• 5 years of experience producing documents and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Cloud products and Microsoft Office.
