As Wayspring’s Paralegal, you’ll be a vital part of our mission to remove barriers for individuals facing substance use disorder by ensuring our clinical operations remain compliant, credentialed, and accountable.
This role is more than just legal research and regulatory maintenance—it’s about building trust in systems that support recovery and wellness. You’ll drive compliance with state and federal healthcare laws, oversee provider credentialing, and support initiatives that keep our care teams focused on what they do best: helping people reclaim their lives. You’ll also collaborate across departments, supporting audits, policy development, and HIPAA adherence—ensuring every clinic and provider meets the highest standards. This role offers the chance to do meaningful work in a collaborative, growth-minded environment where your contributions matter—both to your team and to the lives we’re working to transform every day.
Why Wayspring?
We are passionate about breaking barriers alongside those facing substance use disorder. Whether you’re in the field or in the corporate office – our mission is felt, and your impact is recognized. There is no inner circle, and we all have a seat at the table. Leaders are accessible and silos are avoided. We respect your craft and love to be challenged. We invest not only in our mission, but in each other. Internal promotions and cross departmental training are the norm – you grow, we grow.
Responsibilities of the Position
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
Research shows that men often apply for jobs when they meet just 60% of the qualifications, while women and other marginalized groups tend to apply only if they meet all of them. If you believe you're a strong fit—even if you don’t meet every requirement—we encourage you to apply.
At Wayspring, equity and inclusion are core to who we are. We value diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and we work to remove barriers to success—both within our organization and in the communities we serve. Our goal is to create a workplace where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
