What you will do  

We are looking for a skilled journeyman mechanic who has experience with HVAC comfort cooling, air-cooled and water-cooled systems in the industrial market. We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement. We offer incentive programs and a #1 focus on employee safety. We also provide tools, cell phones, uniforms, and a company vehicle to perform your job and service our customers to the highest standard. 

What we look for  

Required

• Three years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives.
• Requires Mechanical Journeyman status.
• Member of Local Union 286 or willing to join.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e. smartphones, iPads).
• Adherence to company safety program. 
• Valid driver's license.
• Appropriate licenses to work with refrigerant, boiler, and steam operational & service knowledge. 
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to be on call nights and weekends on a schedule-rotating basis.

Preferred  

• More than 5 years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives.
