About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Executive Director of Nursing Quality and Research to lead the implementation of quality initiatives, support research efforts, and promote best practices within its nursing departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic goals related to Magnet Recognition, evidence-based practice, and patient safety, as well as facilitating collaborations with educational institutions and quality improvement teams. This leadership role requires a collaborative style, strong communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery, nursing quality, and regulatory standards. The Interim Executive Director will play a critical part in ensuring the highest standards of nursing care and will be expected to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Applicants for the Interim Executive Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree, an MSN, and an active CA RN License. A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in healthcare leadership is required, with a preference for those with a background in a large-scale health system or academic medical center. The role demands a leader who can effectively manage and inspire nursing teams, drive quality improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering a culture of excellence in patient care and will be instrumental in the organization's pursuit of Magnet Recognition.
