About the Role

The Company is seeking an Interim Executive Director for Performance, Assurance, and Risk. This leadership role is pivotal in the strategic management of enterprise risk, assurance, and compliance functions to ensure the optimal performance of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining integrated frameworks and systems that enhance the company's reputation and capability, and support the achievement of organizational strategies and performance objectives. Collaboration with external bodies, including the Office of the Auditor General, the Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services, and various statutory organizations, is a key aspect of the position, fostering an environment of innovation, service focus, and problem-solving. Candidates for this role at the company should be progressive leaders with a strong background in corporate audit, risk management, and business improvement. Extensive knowledge of the public sector regulatory environment and accountability systems is essential, as is a demonstrated understanding of Australian and International Standards, legislation, and best practices.
