Shop Mechanics are responsible for repairing and maintaining various types of generators, industrial lighting equipment, and primarily servicing and repairing rental equipment, along with some customer owned equipment. Our products consist of light towers, explosion proof lighting, temporary power products, and generators. We're looking for a motivated individual ready to join an expanding business nationwide. We offer paid time off, health and dental, 401k, and competitive pay.

Skills & Requirements:

• Perform routine and operational maintenance to ensure that equipment continues to run according to manufacturer’s specifications

• Perform equipment inspections to identify potential problems and safety concerns

• Record maintenance and repair work performed on equipment

• Ensures production and support equipment are functioning properly

• Performs basic electrical duties (replace motors, switches, PE, etc..)

• Analyze and Diagnose (troubleshoot) equipment malfunctions or failures

• Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)

• Perform annual certifications and inspections

• Test and operate engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Clean units and components

• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3 years experience in mechanically diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of equipment

• Ability to handle physical workload

• Ability to multitask and prioritize

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational skills

• Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision

• Strong work ethics with a commitment to quality

• A history of safe work habits

• Maintains a great attitude toward work

• High School Diploma or GED

• Driver’s License
