PS Companies is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana.

PS Companies is seeking an experienced Med Surg Tele RN for an opening based in Newburgh, IN. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position.

Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Midtown (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.

Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), recover heart caths (femoral/TR bands), PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, drip management (cardiac-cardizem, amio, etc., other-heparin, lasix, protonix, etc.). CBI, detox/CIWA protocol experience, central line care. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!

*** Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new-hires ***

Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Active IN RN License.
2 years strong Cardiac/tele experience
Travel experience
Trauma Level II experience
Epic experience
BLS (AHA) Certification
ACLS (AHA) Certification
NIHSS Certification
Ability to clear a drug screen/background check.
