An exciting opportunity has become available for an merchandise planning assistant to join our rapidly growing team in a full time, permanent capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively manage the delivery schedule of all incoming stock
Identifying & resolving any intake issues in collaboration with MAA & BAA updating systems accordingly
Processing weekly markdowns & re-prices as advised by the planning team
Conduct option plan management & auditing daily
Run product line cards & forecasting with clear communication to the buying team
Conducts size curve analysis & complete sizing tool updates
Able to make suggestions for sizing mix changes needed to optimise sales
Proactively contributes to department trade each week following up on any actions & updating the team
Confident and concise presentation of analysis in relevant meetings
Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis & data entry
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, however raw talent, attitude and skills are always highly valued
Exceptional organisational skills
Strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel is preferred
High level of accuracy & attention to detail
Had an aptitude for retail maths and analysis
Can work autonomously as well as part of a team
Ability to manage a high workload and be able to work to tight deadlines
Flexible and Adaptable- be able to re-prioritise workload based on business priorities
Strong Communicator- ability to form relationships across the business
